Room Thermostat

Went on the Honeywell wiring course today and remembered about people querying the height of room stat (part P , Part M etc). The instructors said room stat had to be set at 1200mm from floor max(same height as switches etc) to comply with regs etc.

Yeah many installers might put it 1200mm from the floor but on the airing cupboard stud wall or as I saw once on a new building site "above a radiator"
