To any one who can help,

I've been asked to install a new boiler to a first floor flat. (1900's)
My question is, is it permissible to run a new gas pipe under the floor from the meter to the boiler?
I seem to be getting mixed answers from gas safe as to whether this is allowed.
Apparently, this area is termed as "no mans land"?

thanks in advance

Russ

Steps back and waits for the increase post count to 10 and PM Gasman with GSR details :)

Just out of interest, how many storey's high is this block of flats?

Edit: supper's reply just cracked me up. I can't breathe! :tongue3:

im not telling him off im asking if russpgs is GSR and should not talk about gas work in open forum?? following the rules

Croppieeeeeeeeeeeeeee nasty mutts having a go, oh work on gas, lpg oil amongst other things install kitchens and bathrooms, and renovate houses and do flat convertions when I have a spare minute, dont believe in ptfe and leaks arent a specialization, station mechanic on a lifeboat, what do you do?

You need a gsr in to look at your boiler. We cannot and will not give advice on the installation or repair of boilers for your own safety.

Please go to Gas Safe Register | Ensure your gas engineer is registered. or post a thread in the 'I'm looking for a plumber / gas engineer' section of these forums remembering to include your location. [DLMURL="http://www.ukplumbersforums.co.uk/im-looking-plumber-gas-engineer/"]I'm looking for a Plumber or Gas Engineer[/DLMURL]

If you are gsr please increase your post count to 10+ then send a private message to either Gas man or Redsaw who will then check you and then give you access to the gsr private forum.

Thank you.
