Cheshire Gas

I've got a neighbour whos existing gas run to his boiler runs around the side of the house and through the wall and pops out under his boiler. To me there is no sleeving through the wall already so that needs altering. it runs about half way up the house but is exposed all the around. he wants to leave it outside but move it up to just under the eaves. Ive already gave my opnion of running under floors or in the loft space but hes having none of it. ive told him to have sleeving where outside but apparently another engineer has told him this is not necessary. what are your views on this?

No problem outside and it save the thieves stripping it before they take to the scrappy

my views are it doesnt need to be slleved except where it enters the property then should be sleeved and sealed
it has to be clipped every 2.5m i think also

No sleeving outside

Just on point if entry

Do it in steel if your worried about the thieves

I've got one
Don't carry it. But put it on when I know I'm going to use it

It's a Roth ropower 50

Very good bit of kit

Ok outside, but I try run it high straight away so nobody dents it with a car if a space is nearby, NCS if no mechanical sleeving on point of entry.

Have a Rems auto threader had to get it out yesterday dammit!

dont know what model mine is , but it stays at home unless i need it
