Evening,

One of my rads at home ( 500x1200 DP+) in the lounge has a large amount of rusting around the plug/air vent.
I have checked the tightness of the threads and they are fine but it is now causing staining on the side panels.
All rads were replaced with boiler approx six years ago and they are all good.

Any ideas???

Thanks

Stewart

A bit of PTFE tape around the thread may do the trick Stewart! Basically the seal at water end isn't a good one! IMO.
