Salamander pump comes on and off when basin tapused.

Hi

Property has a Salamnder pump. It does the shower which is on the same level and does the bathroom upstairs.

The basin mixer tap in the same room as the pump, hot does not come from the pump, cold is mains. Same for the kitchen. When the hot is used on the basin or kitchen the pump will come on very briefly sometimes it stays on and needs to be switched off at the wall. Would I be right in thinking a non return valve fitted to the basin hot and kitchen hot would solve this?
