can the waste for a sani flow have an elbow in the run or does it need to be a straight run.

a customer wants an on suite toilet, problem is the bedroom is at the front of the house and the stack is at the rear i could notch out 2 joists put an elbow in then that would give me a straight shot to the stack, then boss connector into the soil stack that the main toilet runs into. i cant see any other options other than a sani flow.

also is the waste for the sani flow 40mm i have never fitted one before

try and use 45 degree bends these things are the devils and when a fault occurs he manufacturer will say theres a 90 in the run and that is not allowed depend on what type of macerator you might be able to use overflow pipe

cheers
i can see what you mean about using 45s these would be the better option

a true saniflow is run in overflow with no 90s but 2 45s together is ok there are limits to how far they will pump its all on there site
you can go up at the end near the saniflow but then it must fallin your case id go throught the couple of joists with o/f then clip a run of 32 with a fallthrough the floor void to the soil
always stick in a clearing eye at each end if possible

steve when you say it can go up at the saniflow end do you mean i could say take it up into the attic then run it to the stack with a fall in it

Hi Pauls
If you go on the saniflow site it has info on there about installation etc.
They have a 10 Golden Rules page of what to do and what not to do.
Cheers
