Hi,

I am new to this forum. I have read a few posts on people losing pressure in their boilers, wondering if different models could have different problems?

Anyway.....

I have a Saunier Duval combi boiler.. It must be about 10 years old.

Whenever i use the heating for any period of time it will lose pressure once i turn it off. I then have to refill it so i can use it again. This gets very frustrating. When i refill drips of water come out from underneath so i have to put a cloth here to hold the water it.

When i use the hot water the boiler doesn't have a problem with pressure. Its just with the central heating

What can i do before i end up calling out an engineer??

As far as i know there are no leaks outside or visible to me.

Any help appreciated.

It could be an expansion vessell issue but to be honest you need a breakdown engineer to give a diagnostic and repair cost

no leaks apart from the one under the boiler that sounds like 1 leak to me get an engineer to sort it
