If you have any gas engineer 'friends' in yourarea, ring them and chances are they will give you one for free. If you are near Croydon, I can give you one. You have to come for it though.

I know, but since a ''colleague'' is desperate, it gives some satisfaction to know I helped someone in distress.

Call out gas company. Can't you sweat the old one off and use it? Even if it's 90 on to lead remove lead and sweat on a Yorkie metric to imperial
