Doing a cp12 and fitted is a baxi beta tec.
There is however no screws where the boiler meets the elbow or where the flue meets the elbow.
I've fitted a few duo tecs and they come with screws and was there a case when an installer was jailed for co poisoning due to not putting screws in and caused a death? (Same boiler???)
just wondering what you guys would classify this as?

NCS unless there are signs that the flue is unsecure/moving/coming apart, or put some screws in yourself as it will only take a couple of mins.

bags of self tappers cost a quid or two.

Wouldn't classify anything, I would put some screws in. 5 min job and a warm feeling of happiness.

just to clarify it was a worcester greenstar that killed a young women, not a baxi, baxi dont have any requirement for self tapping the flue going away as long as the flue hole is made good with sand and cement, however if you look at this months JOTM i have done both you cant be too cautious regarding flue work

Worcester have a very high acceptable co level

Imho on the baxi, no need for screws as long as flue is secured with sand and cement. Nothing wrong with belt and braces approach though
