:32::speechless::furious3:we dont do diy gas work on this forum, and if you are a gsr you need to question your competency 24mb inlet, whats that gas hob gone out? smell gas by any chance???but you have a electric hob you say,so is that second hand burner doing a jig as well

what do the notes you got when you did your CCN1, HTR1 and CPA1 say about this type of problem, surely its not that long ago that you passed? you have passed haven't you? surely nobody is so irresponsible as to fit a second hand open flued appliance without being competant and risking the lives of the whole family

IT IS AGAINST GAS REGULATIONS TO FIT A SECONDHAND GAS APPLAINCE WITHOUT ITS MANUFACTURES INSTRUCTIONS.

if you do not know this then you dont know what you are doing!

Mee, dont take offence mate but this is not a Diy forum.
Its obvious your not an engineer and you are working illegally on a gas appliance.
If you were an engineer the fault is obvious but we cannot condone working on gas appliances illegally and that is why people are getting irate and not giving you the answers you require.

Imagine if something went wrong and it goes to court and you say "such and such on this forum said this is what to do" we would loose our living and that is of course better than you or someone living with you loosing their life.

its not really advisable for anyone to give advise that may lead to a dangerous or illegal situation.

and when you contact them to tell them dont forget they will require your gas safe number.

Muppet hope you get banned

why? this thread is helping prove the point that you need to be competent to work on gas, and its better to contact a Gas Safe registered engineer to ensure you dont harm yourself or others.

he has edited all his posts lol obviously not hearing what he wanted to hear
