Secondary meter

Hi guys, I have a met1 ticket and was meant to fit a secondary meter for another gsr, he has now changed the schedule and I am away when it is due to be fitted. I have been told that any gsr can fit secondary meters without a met1. Can anyone clarify this for me? Thanks

I'm pretty sure that MET1 is required to install secondary meters, and you can only fit primaries if you are approved by the OAMI, I.e. Working for the gas supplier

Not sure why, think its an annexe,just been asked to fit a 2nd one downstream, problem is I'm going away for 3 weeks when it needs doing and in the back of my mind I thought any gsr could do it.

You need your MET for both primary and secondary
