hi everyone
I was working on a system today that had a Siemens three port valve. does any one know if this acts the same as a Honeywell three mid position divertor valve.
I ask this because if you turn the heating and hot water off on a Honeywell the lever automatically moves over and if you then try to push it to manual you feel resistance when doing so. The Siemens valves has no resistance and doesn't regardless of whether the room stat or cylinder stat is calling for heat????
could the valve be stuck open as they have both heating and hot water?
cheers
