Just wanted to know how you register self employed with CIS and UTR number n all that jazz ...

Ive been on the phone to them a dozen times and still dont understand fully! so iv posted this thread to see how other plumbers are registered to help me with my enquiries

also ... what kind of things can you claim for? fuel, tools etc?

Phone up inland rev they do it all for you and put you through to the correct people. It'll take about a week to get your utr number though.
