Just looking at plans to redesign the kitchen, can a gas ch boiler be sited next to a cooker extraction hood.

I.e built in oven under hob, hob in worktop, with chrome extractor above. 500mm wide cupboard fitted next to the extractor hood which will contain the boiler. Is this OK with current regs? May have to duct the hob extractor away from the flue.

as long as the clearance from cabinet to hob meets current gs regs.

need to consider seperation distances outside as well, but as its only 300mm required between the 2 then it should be ok
