If you can get the bottom baffle out without the tool then yes, depends how many years it's been sat there. How old is the boiler?

Good tip for these dependent on model is to get one of those water bottles with a teat on it so once you've brushed out all the muck you can spray any left over stuff off the burner and out of any hard to reach spots.

Theres tools for every wb , even charge 30-40 for the baffle file and brush lol, mind u i bought one ,
