Hi All,

I am swapping over an old baxi boiler & cylinder for a new combi boiler. Whilst removing the cylinder i a
have come across a Servowarm manual valve. I believe that this is a progressive valve that was used a few times of the year but i am confused as to what is is doing.
The hot water was coming out of the top of the cylinder and wasn't connected to the hot water but the valve itself is only connected to the flow and return pipes. Am i correct in just removing this and connecting all the pipes for the central heating system? Also what was the purpose of this valve?

Thanks

Is it not a rega summertime valve just a manual 3 port?

god blesss servo warm and there ideas I once found a hanging basket in the corner of a room with a tank connector in the bottom acting as an f and e tank had to fill the system with a watering can

Yes, just remove the antique.

its just a manual 3 port valve. Flow in- hot water flow one side and radiators at the other.

surprised you haven't come across their boiler with the hinged radiator on the front!!
