Hi looking for a bit off advice.

Doing a commercial premises.Closed system for the heating.Ive set the press unit at 1.2 but not too sure about the expansion vessel?

Also a booster set for the cold mains which is set at 1.5 bar with a remote expansion vessel. What should this be set too as well.

Any help would be much appreciated compared to the no help from heating engineer today.

Cheers for any advice given.

it should come pre set esp if you have sized it right

should be a data plate somwhere

90% of the design pressure.

Which is 1.08 bar but I'd set it at 1.1bar.

Don't forget that this would be on an empty system.

And the booster set you'll need to adjust on site. Increase the vessel pressure until you get no more pump bounce.

Is that the same for both vessels Croppie or only the Heating one?

Just wondering because the booster set is set at 1.5.

Cheers

It's been a long time since I last set up a booster set Paul. Suck it and see really. Start at 1.5 bar, some need more, some less. You'll know when you get it right because the pump won't bounce when it comes up to pressure.
