Setting in tool for hollow wall fixings

I just use my 10.8v Bosch impact driver. Never had any problems.

So what's the benefit of a setting in tool over a drill?

it doesnt spin and burst the gyproc

You still need to drill but it sets the fixing in place without having to tighten the screw so avoids the risk of having the fixing spin and the barbs cut through the wall. It also means you can fix thicker stuff to the wall as the fixing is already compressed.
