My property is a new build that is now 4 and a half years old. The property is a three storey town house. We have a problem when we flush the toilet in the en-suite on the 2nd floor, we later have to endure a "sewarage" type smell on the ground floor. This has happened on and off since we have moved in. Any ideas on what the problem is and how I can resolve this please? :(

Well when you flush loo upstairs check if water is being pulled out of a basin/sink/washing machine ect trap on the ground floor
If so vent stack should be checked to make sure clear,if ok deeper traps or anti syphon traps can be fitted
