I am closing up a property for 2-3 months and will be turning mains water off. Hot water is supplied by a pressurised water cylinder in the loft. Should I depressurise it before I leave the property? If so is it simply a matter of switching water off and run hot tap for a while? Any advice much appreciated.

Yes and correct

don’t forget to turn all controls off eg set them to off
