Hi,

I know nothing about plumbing but I bought a new shower valve to replace our old thermostatic one. Unfortunately the exposed pipes in the wall are 3/4 inch and the new shower has 15mm pipes. I have searched everywhere for a 15mm x 3/4inch coupler with female connectors at both ends but can't find anything anywhere. Does this exist? Or is there a problem is trying to connect in this way?

If you knew nothing, why didnt you get a plumber to get a replacement?

as for a fitting? You will need o reduce the pipe in the wall to 15mm to adapt to this mixer.

sorry.

You can get fittings/adaptors to do what you want, but by the time they are fitted there wont be any room in the shower for you as the valve will be about a foot from the wall

Not very helpful I know, but I'm bored
