Friends

An 800x800 quadrant shower cubicle.

The runners top & bottom are broken, seized & won't manoeuvre.

I've tried looking for new but can find the ones.

So, here's the question.

The tray is an 800x800.

Have no idea of the make or the make of the existing cubicle.

I take it that any 800x800 quadrant will sit on top & fit? May need to drill new holes in wall for securing screws.

Or, has anyone got a place where the runners can be purchased. Even enquired on fleabay but nothing.

Cheers

have you tried cleaning them up? spraying them with air duster and the coating them in silicone lube and see if you can turn them, works sometimes, although now I tend to spray the wheels and the runners in the top with silicone spray before leaving after fitting it new, you would be surprised the difference it makes!!

Any same sized screen will fit and the job will look much better for it. Have found runners on line in the past fitted them only for the whole rail to disintegrate !

I'll have a look but don't see them. It's quite a modern unit, about 4/5/6 yrs old, silver so I'm sure someone must sell them.

I agree a new cubicle would look better also.

Thx for your replies.
