Hi,
First time poster and pretty handless at DIY. My shower is constantly blocked and I've attempted to use One Stop Drain unblocker. This has been pretty good in the past for normal sinks and toilets. Usually works within minutes. However, when I use it with my shower drain the drain unblock fluid just sits in the bottom of the drain, see pic, and doesn't actually make it to the drain pipe. I'm not even sure how the drain works as there's no visible drain hole. I assume the hole is covered by the drain cap.
My question is, how do I remove the drain cap in the picture? Do I just unscrew it? If I do unscrew it will I be able to see the drain pipe to put my One Stop Drain unblock fluid down it? I'm fed up standing in a pool of water. The drain never used to be like this.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Remember, I'm a total novice!
