I have the hot and cold water pipes coming through a tiled wall ready for me to connect my new thermostatic mixer valve. The tiler left me a very nice circular hole for each tail and when i have offered up the collar that goes over the end of the tail of the pipework that sits between the wall and the shower itself i find i have cocked up with my measurements. The collar that sits on the wall is off centre so i can see the top of the hole in the tile. Can anyone suggest of a place where i could buy a chrome finish, effect washer that could go behind the colar so that it hides the mistake that i have made. I need about 2inch outside diameter and a centre diameter big enough to go over a 3/4 threaded tail.

You won't find anything like you describe. Chop out the offending tile and do the job properly. Anything else will be a bodge up!

Like said remove tile and re do correctly,if you are worried about extra cost, mark new tile correctly were you want holes and ring tiler up and take tile to him were he is working,he can re-drill and cost will not be so much, sure you can stick a couple of tiles back on if you are fitting shower
Or get your self down the local chaves shop, sure you will be able to pick up a few silver or gold round pendants to cover hole,if you are lucky they may have some with a bull bog or staffs face on,that you can fit on the top and hang your soap off :)
