Hi there, hoping I can get some advice.
My shower has been blocked for a while, and so I have attempted to unblock it today. I removed the grated cover in the shower basin, and put some drain clearing fluid down the pipe. After leaving it for 10 minutes (as advised on the bottle), I followed the instructions and rinsed down the pipe with hot water.
I then left the shower to run for 10 minutes or so in order to see if the blockage was completely clear, as previously the water level would continue to rise due to the blockage.
I've since realised that the pipe wasn't correctly positioned (presumably due to being screwed in to the grated cover which was removed), and it appears to have flooded, as I can see water all down the walls and on the ceiling in the room below the shower.
The water appears to have spread all across the underside of the bedroom which the shower is in also (it's an en-suite).
What should be the course of action (if any) with this? The shower was running for at least 10 minutes.
Thanks
