Redsaw when i was running a large site these were the showers i ALWAYS fitted.

They are really easy to repair mate, do you have the MI? I know quite a bit on these.

Also the temperature when factory set is really low, you can easily adjust this

The washers are pathetic if i remembered. Depends on which part is leaking from redsaw, did you take the main handle off?

Pop the cover cap (T logo) off with a small flat head screwdriver
Need a phillips to unscrew the main handle
Wiggle the main handle off
Your at the guts of the shower now, off the top of my head theres a grey cap i think thats has different washers/U Clips thats holding the parts of the shower together.

They are quite easy to figure out how they work mate, even without instructions

Its leaking from the handle?
Could be a few things, some of the U Clips might not be fully pushed in place, some of the washers might be faulty.

Case of investigation fella, did you get the main handle off?
Did you fix it?

If its on a big development, it was the first time i came across these, first two which had problems took me some time to figure out.
After that and taking them apart you realise how they work, and they work quite simple compared to some other mixers.
Also for installation they are really easy. They give you pipe centres of 148mm however you can extend the elbows to 155mm so your not hindled by the damn tiler whos moved your pipes lol
To fix them on they have 2 long phillips screws which holds the body onto the tiles and pipes are just a nut and olive connection

Watch the guarentee though! They should be installed with the service valve inc a line strainer & NRV which is included in the pack

The rep warned me about this. If for any situation that the engineer cant fix say bodys cracked or whatever if they send one of their 'engineers' they will instantly look at the installation and if the pipework that feds the shower doesnt have the valves then the guarentee is void!

Only exception they could bend is when the mixer is say over a tray, but they advice you run seperate H&C to wherever accessible to access the service valve and line strainer

waters just dripping from the shower head like a tap washer gone.
i only went there to give a quote to repair it and i could not turn it on as they have cranked it rite shut to minimise dripping. not going to break owt trying lol.

it would be the cartridge if it dont fully shut of, is it?

Yeah that would be just a normal washer then if its coming off the shower head part

The thermostatic cartridge (fig.19 in the MI) if the leak is coming from this area then yeah would be worth changing the whole part than pin pointing it to the exact piece which is faulty

I got made to change the exact piece, when these where breaking on site a year back. Merchants didnt have the parts so i always had to contact ideal standard to get bits and pieces to hold in the lockup

You can alter the lever arm on the shower by removing it (via the screw behind the T Logo cover) and positioning it in a different position. Theres 2 gears inside, 1 controls temperature other controls on/off

They changed this type of CTV shower mixers recently, must of been like what was happening with ideal isars :p

Have a quick look at the link i posted mate just so you have a heads up if they decide to get you back :)
