Shower not turning on

Hi
I have a S9 shower valve S9 Triple Concealed Shower valve with Square Plate

It does not turn on unless I turn down the temp down.

Is this the way it is supposed to work?

Mrs is giving me serious grief over this!

Have a look at the instructions, is it piped up correctly?

Your link does not show instructions, this is where I'd look first.

Had the plumber who fitted it round. He reckons it's the valve. Been onto supplier and they are sending a new one. Just means we've got to get the tiles off, not good, as we have to pay the plumber again as I supplied the parts.
There were no instructions in the box in fact the supplier said no instructions are sent because they expect them to be fitted buy a professional (It was).

Even professionals need instructions some times your supplier sounds really good lol

i would refuse to accept goods if they didn't come with instructions, the reason being you may have fitted something like it before but not that exact model and there may be differences which are vital to know about for it's safe operation.

What an appalling supplier.

I for one always read the instructions, you may install 100 showers from different manufacturers all with there own installation instructions how are we supposed to know!

Thats like a tv manufacturer not including instructions and saying "well, you've owned tv's before''
