Shower Over Bath; Water Buildup

Afternoon all,

I have had a shower installed over my bath, when showering, the water in the tub fills up to about ankle height, then totally drains away then builds up again. Anyone have any ideas what this might be and how I could rectify it?

Sounds like some of your waste pipe is running uphill. You need to get it rectified as it will cause a build up of gunk and blockages in the future.

This was correct; now all running downhill there is no build up. Thanks
