Shower plinth advice please

So I looked at a job earlier, the plumber who ill (?) has made a plinth fit the shower tray to sit on - it wood. Looks ok.

My question is, how do you secure to floor / walls? It's got wooded strips along bottom.

Floor is wood ply

screw the timbers to the floor (try and hit the joist) and then glue the shower tray to the timers and go over kill on the timbers if you can

Thx. I was going to glue it down as its already made up but I'll try to get it undone.

do you know what timbers its made out of?

Pine timber along bottom. Top is ply I think

sounds like a gooden should raise it something like 2-3 inches?

Looks well made with proper gap for waste.

The old plumber, not sure why he's off site as 80% done
