Hi, I had a new en suite bathroom fitted around 5 years ago, initially all good, gradually the Shower Pump started to get noisier, and eventually stopped working after about 2/3 years. I bought same pump (Salamander) and swapped it over, everything was good, so quiet, gradually noise has started to increase again after about 2 1/2 years use. Noise is very gravelly and vibrates badly enough to be louder downstairs. I’m at a loss to what the issue could be.

Not saying it is but could it be an installation issue, ie route of pipes, number of bends etc. Many people dont like these pumps and fit other makes.

Looking at the picture it looks like it has been fitted with a flange (warix by look of it) but due to the collection of fittings doubtful the dip tube is doing much good.
Look at different make of pump Stuart Turner is my choice and reconfigure connections may have to use a Essex flange.
Make sure cold side is feed directly from tank and has not been connected onto cylinder cold feed.
