Hi there,
I have recently had my bathroom tiled etc. The timer fitter a new towel radiator and a new shower head only, so know changes to my shower system.
I have a Mira ppt3 pump and have never had issues with this. The pump is upstairs and feeds the shower downstairs. This morning when we went to use the shower for the first time the pump came on as normal and the water was hot, after about 3 minutes it started spitting and spurting and then the pump stop making its usual pumping noise and I had to abort having a shower. I have tried several times to retry but the pump is not doing anything. Completely silent, changes d fuse etc.
Does anyone have any ideas on this one, this has only happened since bathroom was redecorated but he only changed the radiator and shower head.

Thanks for reading
Nikki.

Sounds to me like air, try turning the pump off, remove the shower head and let it hang low, turn on the valve to full cold till it runs free then turn on to full hot again till it runs free, then turn the pump on and try it again.

You might also just want to check all isolation valves are open!
