Hello everybody first time on site.

Is it just me as nothing seems straight forward. Fitted my bathroom with all the usual, plumbed a cabin shower in the corner of the bathroom needed a shower pump, plumbed one in the airing cupboard pluged it in switched it on went back to the shower turned it on nothing, I understand the pump should come on when the shower is turned on. As anybody else had the same problem.

The pump is a salamander ct75

There are a number of reasons why it hasn't come on, mainly to do with the plumbing, it needs at least 1 litre per minute to trigger the flow switches.

How exactly is this plumbed in?

Does it start if you take the showerhead off and dangle the hose in the tray?

i agree with Phil^^did you check the flow rate?, did you check the wiring?, no caps left on the pump inlets or outets? no blockages?, just re check every part, does water come in before it goes into the pump?, check it all, check wiring cables e.t.c. im pretty sure you'll find it good luck.

as already said it has to have a minimum flow rate before it will work there is a few diagrams and stuff on the salamander website that might be of help its possible that you may need a negative head pump that or you need to move the cold water storage tank higher in the loft

Hi, thanks for all your comments. I shall check the flow, I have put a 50 gallon tank in the loft so the cold water flow should be ok, could it be to do with the warix flange i put on hot water cylinder.
