Now, I am wanting a single impellor 2bar shower pump to pump the hot water side and the the cold will be on the mains with a pressure balancing shower valve.

Now, the pump will be in the loft and the pipes will have to go down to cylinder and back upto the loft. But, the shower rose is below the cwsc. But, My cwsc is on raised around 8 inches. Will i get away with a positive pressure pump?

I phones stuart turner and they said that I would need negative. And that although their manual says it only needs 500mm from top of water level in cistern, realistically, it should be 500mm from the bottom.

What do you reckon guys? Maybe i just connect a bit of plastic to my pipe run and see if I get any flow through pipes. And if so, go with a positive.

I have also heard that if the positive does not work, you can just wire a pull cord to the flow switch and that will do the job. Anyone ever done this?

One more thing, I am in need of a 450mm cylinder(width with lagging)with all tappings on the front. Indiect I am after. Has anyone ever needed one and been able to purchase one? Or, will I have to get it made up?

Thanks fellers.
