I'm installing a shower tray onto an 18mm plywood base which is also fixed to an 18mm Weyroc floor and so the depth of the hole for the shower waste is 36mm. I'm therefore looking for a shower trap with a neck depth of about 40mm (before the waste outlet) to fit up through the 36mm deep hole in the floor to fix to the base of the shower tray. However, I'm having difficulty finding a trap that is suitable.

Can anyone please recommend a suitable shower trap.

Thank you

Hepv0 trap with a bent trap adaptor should do the trick, I think I'm understanding your question.

Thanks for the posts. Isn't the Hepv0 an inline trap ? If so, how would bent trap adapter connect to the shower tray ?

The shower tray has a hole for a 90mm waste/trap. Obviously the trap needs to fit to the bottom of the tray but must go through the 36mm deep hole in the floor in order to get there. There's plenty of room under the floor for the necessary waste pipework, I just need a suitable shower trap.

thats no good for connecting to a stack as the trap is only 50mm and you need 75 mm im struggling to understand the problem can you not mount a standard top fixing shower trap in the floor and lower the tray onto it ?

Thanks for the post stevetheplumber.

I think I've sorted it by cutting some more of the floor away to make room for the trap. I'll post a picture tomorrow to show what I mean.

Thanks again.
