shower trap

I am going to be buying a shower tray soon and put in a new shower.

Should i buy a tray which accomodates a big shower trap or should i go for athe normal design. i ask this because our shower will get clogged up with the wifes hair and so i want to use a shower trap i can service from the top.

are there any problems with these traps ?

I always use top access traps in trays as they are easy to clear out. Outlet should be 40mm and can't think of a tray I've fitted recently that wasn't a standard size outlet.
