Shower trap

Hey I have installed a shower trap that after the shower drains there is always a circle of water around the chrome shower waste. Any one had this before.

There is usually a little circle of water around the waste. The chrome disc usually hides it.

Can you take a picture of it?

It depends on the tray / waste fitting. Mira trays with the square grate hold too much. A lot of low level trays seem to have this problem too.
personally I never use a washer ( if one is supplied) on the top flange, this lifts it a little.

Is it a regular occurrence then? I haven't used a washer on the top flange just silicone, The shower trap I have used doesn't have a chrome disc. I suppose it's not doing any bother? just looks abit un- sightly.
