Happy new year

I have two showers in the house but this only affects one of them and no impact on any taps either.
the showers are the type where there’s just a small control showing through the wall (mixer?) with hot/cold and pressure controls on the same unit.

the pressure is good but the hot/cold function does not allow us the reach the required temperature.
you can feel the hot water is reaching the valve area but doesn’t seem to be reaching the head.

is this likely to mean a new unit or can this be repaired?

thanks in advance

Just needs adjusting to increase temperature. Well that's the first thing to try.

Take temp adjustment head off, increase temp, stick head back on.
