I’ve found an old toilet stack to a drain in a downstairs bathroom which was capped off. It’s still open and connects to my sewer line on my property. There is a man hole cover just outside and it drains.

I want to drain my shower waste through it.

If I make get a U bend and drain the waste into this pipe is this:

1 Allowed?
2 is there a way of connecting a smaller pipe to the old underground waste pipe 110 mm. I have about 15 cm clearance with floor?

Advice gratefully received.
