Hi guys went to look at this shower as it is getting very tight to turn off. So I assume it needs a clean up and add some grease to ease it.
Took cap odd and took screw out bit couldn't get the other cap off (turn for o and off)
Couldn't see another screw in it so am I right in thinking it just pulls off. Didn't want to force it incase I damage it as I have tried to pull it off but no joy as off yet

I can't see it clear enough on photo but if you've removed the screw or circlip and there's nothing else there it normally would just pull off.
Is it brass or plastic ( the dial / knob ). ? How old is the shower ?
What make is it ?

Well, from what I can see, it looks like it should pull off if you've removed the screw.
Try pouring hot water ( not boiling ) over the plastic knob to try and expand it a bit.
You never know, it may make a difference.
They can be tight. Make sure there are no screws left holding it on.
Or circlips. Like I say I can't see it clear enough from pic but it does look like you've removed them
Sometimes, a putty knife will fit behind the knob so you can gently prise it off but please be careful you don't damage the chrome effect on the valve or the plastic if you do that. It damages easy.
Try the water warming first
Hope this helps
