Hi guys,

i don't usually fit showers but I've got to fit a new shower for a friend of mine. I'm taking the bath out and putting in a shower cubicle. I'm fitting a triton power shower.

Can I use the old hot feed to the bath tap as the hot supply for the shower?

would it work better if I ran a new supply from the cyclinder?

cheers guys.

Hot for shower should really have its own dedicated supply from the cylinder, and cold from tank. You'll also find that most power showers feed in from the top, whereas your bath supply's will be coming up from floor, so it may be easier to go up and over.

I believe the Triton showers are fine with this arrangement.

Me too. I believe you can use the old bath feeds for hot and cold provided the cold is tank fed. The only problem may be if someone else is using a hot water outlet at the same time as your mate is having a shower.

You should be able to pipe-up the shower easily enogh whether the feed is top or bottom.
