Was asked to have a look at a few things for a customer this evening.

Sink waste needs altering so the washing machine doesnt back up and, a new shower and an issue with the toilets.

x4 close coupled toilets in the property. All with Siamp flush valves. 2 of them work as they should, long flush/short flush.

The other 2 only give a short flush no matter what button is pressed. These 2 are newly replaced so I'm assuming they need setting up and are not faulty?.

I was only there to have a look at what needs doing so didn't want to mess around too much or do a repair for free in case she doesn't have me back for the job.

Can I adjust this so it gives a long or short flush? Don't want to charge for a new valve it's a simple fix.

Thanks.

Are these the push button type that connect with rods to the valve? I had one this week that was only flushing for marginally longer than the button was pressed. The rods needed lengthening so that the button pressed them down far enough for the flush mech to hold the flush open after the button was released.

Apologies for the delay, I know what you mean but it's not the length of the rods as if the button is held down longer then it gives a full flush.

Booked in next Thursday. Taking a flush valve with me just in case it's faulty.
