Hi there I've just started a job where I I'm going into the kitchens and finding the kitchen fitter has siliconed the Gas Hobs down and throwin away the brackets that secure it to the work top! Surely this can't be allowed as the silicone is probably not heat resistant and will not hold the hob down for long! Is this right or have standards been failed here?
 
Without a doubt it hasn't been installed as per MI, record it as NCS, if you see any that the silicone is damaged and the hob isn't secure then its AR
