Hi , been to service a sime format 100c. Next day boiler stopped working , went back , power to pump no pump , by the time I had checked this pump relay melted in front of me !
New PCB , powered pump from flying lead plugged into wall , pump worked (didn't want to pay to swap pump)
2 mins later after plugging into boiler loom (with no heat)pump stopped ! (Power to pump, not running)
no ignition while pump was working and heating thermistor shows open circuit so I'm replacing that too !
Problem is pump head for this is a fortune and reluctant to spend £150 on twelve year old knackered boiler! (Even though it's a customers!)
From memory I know a standard pump head won't fit , but after looking at a few pics , ideal pumps look similar , wondered if anyone knew what pump heads will fit it . Many thanks in advance for any advise !
