We currently have a Honeywell T4360B room stat; because it's on a 24v control circuit (Glow Worm 30cxi) the anticipator can't be used which, together with the fact that it's a simple mechanical stat, means that we're getting considerable over-run & poor temperature control. Looking at Honeywell's spec sheets I'm 99% sure that a DT90 can be used as a direct replacement - any reason why not?

Hi DCB and welcome why not give Honeywell technical a call to confirm or recieve other options regards Turnpin:43:

Thanks for the replies!

Honeywell's website says that they are unable to offer technical support to householders; however, I've had another look & found that that only applies to phone support, so I've emailed them.

In answer to your question, Simon, the TP90 uses time-proportional & integral control, so it will control much more precisely than a simple on-off thermostat.

Got an almost immediate reply from Honeywell.

So, as we say around here, job's a good'un!
