Single impeller shower pumps/

hi i was wondering i have 2no x 22mm stuart turner monsoon 1.5 bar single impeller pumps stripped out from commercial job in my garage
iwas thinking of using them side by side in a bungalow cupboard to supply 2 mixer valve/mira coda showers?i would be using one pump for the cold and the other for the hot. im concernerned about one pump coming before the other and maybe locking the other one out?
has anyone done this or am i better just getting a twin impeller shower pump.[which was what i usually would have done]

I can't see why there would be a problem but the stuart turner customer service line are really helpful. Give them a ring.

Hi again was thinking rather than using the 2 pumps i was going to fit the a 2.0 bar pump on the hot side and connect via essex flange then do the cold side of shower via the cold mains and regulate to 2.0bar via pressure reducing valve. Has anyone got any thoughts on this?

The cold might over and power the hot before the pump kicks in. I would personally do it with a twin impeller. With specific hot and colds taken from the tanks. Just flog the pumps on eBay.

Seen it done before and seen manufacturers say it is okay. Only issue is if cold mains pressure drops you can get issues. Best practise is a twin
