single wall rigid gas flue

Just looked at a job,looks like 8 inch spiral duct pipe,used as a flue pipe in a brick chimney....

i would say id as anything to do with the flue i would class as a death situation

Didn't as it was pulled out and a liner dropped in,fitted by a 'gas fire' company 20 years ago,serviced every year for 20 years,but nobody ever looked up the flue hence .
