A variation on a common question, I realise, but here goes.
House is 3 storeys, with a soil pipe running internally down all 3 floors andinto the sewer (bottom floor is effectively underground - extremely deep manhole on drive on middle floor to the lowest point – had a couple of nasty backing ups over the years with sewage in through the shower tray!).
It services:
Am removing this shower room to make way for a new kitchen on bottom floor. The soil pipe runs approx 30 cms in from the corner of the room (see pic), which is awkward for any new kitchen cupboards. Ideally it would be good to move it more into the corner of the room to minimise any boxing in to try and get a 'clean' corner, although we might end up with a couple of inches to box.
Is it possible/advisable/OK with the regs to divert this lower section of the stack into the corner by using another 45 degree elbow? There is already a 45 degree at the bottom of the stack as it goes into the sewer (see pic) and a branch into it from middle floor in the joists above .

- current kitchen and cloak room (toilet, sink) onmiddle floor
- a utility room and shower room (shower, toilet, sink) on bottomfloor. which I am currently removing.
