I want a small o/v boiler eg Worcester greenstar are there any other "good" small models ideally one that requires less wires to the boiler

Only OV boiler that I'm aware that doesn't need pump wiring back is the Solo HE or variants, Viesmann claim theirs doesn't though someone on here had reported back poor results I believe.

I haven't looked at the boiler yet. I am kinda planning for 2 core and earth and 3 core and earth I don't know which this is but its a small bungalow and the existing is an old rear exit flue and the boiler is inside a not to huge cupboard so its the flue that's going to add to the size of a new condensing boiler I like the solo.s flow switch excepted but this is a fussy old git who.s already made his views on potterton/baxi clear id deffo go for the W/b apart from its love of cores I think five is a min

Ideal logic heat only with rear flue, you will need 5 conducters to wire though l, n, e, sw l and pump l

It is not going to be a big deal to run an extra cable in a bungalow if needed.
If the timer is nearby you can pull a PL&N from there and use the original wire for your switch and pump live. You just need to swap one wire in the junction box.

+1 on the logic. It's only about 50mm longer if you go for rear exit on flue!!!!!

It's 100mm longer and I think you'll find when you site it using existing flue hole, it sits a little lower.

intergas does not need pump overrun but needs permenant live and sw live
