Snipef registration is it worth it

I called Scottish and Northern Ireland plumbing federation the other day to see about registering.

Gave me the details of price but never asked me about qualifications.
I do understand that they only recognise time served plumbers and not fast trackers

as I'm time served that doesn't really matter

Is there any advantage of splashing out hard earned to become a member
