What software do you guys use for running your business?

I’m using access as my customer database and excel for invoices quotes etc, they came free with my laptop but theyre quite limited, just wondering what else is available, and if anyone recommends any of those tradesmen specific packages

Same as yourself plus Sage Instant Accounts.

I use Kashflow, very quick to do invoices and expenses, can email PDF invoices/quotes to customers. loads of reports and graphs etc. to see how your business is doing
Any questions I've had I've emailed their support and they get straight back usually within a couple of hours

Find out what your accountant uses - chances are it'll be Sage. I use Sage Instant and I can email my accounts backup file direct to my accountant.
